As part of our commitment to having safe (and awesome!) social events, WAMSS will be having welfare officers at its bigger social events in 2010. Being a Welfare Officer means that you are part of a team of students who will be willing to volunteer for a night to remain sober, be prepared to perform first aid and also to be easily recognised, located and contacted throughout the night.
In addition to the awesome warm-fuzzy feeling you'll get for being part of the team, to say thank-you we will give you a free soft drink, free entry to the event which you are helping out at and also, a $10 discount off the price of a med dinner ticket for every event at which you help out!
