LINCS CALENDAR: Call for Submissions

The LINCS sub-committee is in the process of putting the 2011 LINCS calendar together. We need SUBMISSIONS... any of your elective or volunteer work snaps would be greatly appreciated. All years are welcome to submit their photos. Photos don’t necessarily need to be from a 5th year clinical elective.

There will be prizes for the best photo and runner up, and obviously the best twelve will be published in the calendar.

Red Party 2010 Subcommittees - Applications now open!

Red Party 2010 Subcommittees - Applications now open!
This is your chance to get involved in one of the biggest charity events of the year, and a huge event in the UWA social calendar. There are two subcommittees being formed this year:
1. Red Party Publicity Subcommittee
The job of the publicity subcommittee will involve organising the "Paint The Town Red" campaign, including coming up with original and quirky ideas for the publicity stunts, and helping to pull them off in the week before the Red Party. You will also be promoting the Red Party and the RedAware events, and coordinating the media coverage for the whole event.
2. RedAware Subcommittee
RedAware is the educational side of the Red Party - we coordinate events to educate people and promote awareness of health issues in the developing world. Your role as a member of the RedAware subcommittee will be to come up with innovative ideas for this campaign, as well as planning, running, promoting and expanding these events.
