The countdown to internship is on! We’ve revamped the annual Internship Preparation Conference this year to balance work and play - distilling it down to cover the most important topics, followed by a lovely summer’s day out in the Swan Valley.
Day 1 - free, but please register for a ticket for catering purposes:
The day will start with breakfast courtesy of Avant, and will be followed by a set of presentations on important topics crucial for surviving internship. These include financial matters, salary sacrifice and maximising your leave/conference time; and then we’ve lined up some of Perth’s finest junior doctors for a Q&A panel. Finally, lunch will be provided, prior to UWASS’ workshops in the afternoon.

Leaving med school (and university) after many years deserves plenty of celebrations - we’re proud to present to you the MD version of med leavers - a 1 day wine tour through the Swan Valley! Your ticket includes transport via private bus to and from UWA, tastings at 3 wineries plus a cheese platter at one, a sit-down lunch with a glass of wine or beer, all wrapped up with chocolate truffle tastings. It’ll be a day to remember and celebrate with your colleagues. Tickets are limited so get in quick!
