Code Green is a WAMSS and Interhealth initiative with three key goals:
- Educating medical students about the effects of climate change on health.
- Going green and reducing the pollution of WAMSS and the health sector at large.
- Empowering medical students to be a voice on climate change and advocate for action.
Code Green runs a number of fun and friendly events throughout the year and it’s a great place to meet like-minded individuals and make a real difference.
If you’re keen to be part of the committee for 2013, email [email protected] with your Name, Year and a short paragraph on why you want to be involved with, and what you can bring to, Code Green. Don’t forget to include any experience you’ve had with environmentalism or being on committees, but remember, experience isn’t a prerequisite but enthusiasm is!!
