Global Health Short Course 2012

Global Health Short Course 2012 is a FREE, five week public interactive presentation series that aims to inspire and empower people towards practical solutions for global health issues. It is delivered by a range of exceptional speakers sharing their own personal experiences and highlighting ways in which the we can all can contribute to the cause.

This year, Global Health Short Course will be tackling issues such as international aid, refugee rights, solutions to global health issues, a Q and A on Disaster Medicine, National and International Aid, “A Medical Degree as a Passport” as well as what all can do to help change the many issues that face Global Health. Speakers include Dr Fiona Wood AM, Dr Gary Hewett OAM, Dr Max Kamien AM and Dr Val Lishman AM, plus many more!

GHSC is held on every Wednesday between the 8th of August (second week of university semester) and 5th of September from 5.30pm-8pm at the Murdoch Lecture Theatre at the University of Australia.
