Nominations for the WAMSS Honorary Awards are now open and are to be emailed to [email protected] by Sunday 1st of October 2017 at 11:59pm. Nominations can be as detailed or short as you like.
Terry Ivan Quickenden Award for WAMSS Person of the Year
For significant contributions, beyond their role, to the activities and development of WAMSS during 2017. All medical students may nominate other medical students for this award.
Joel Carson Memorial Award for Service to WAMSS
For significant contributions to the day-to-day activities of WAMSS and to the development of the WAMSS during their years at medical school. All medical students may nominate final year medical students for this award.
Pre-clinical Tutor of the Year Award
For significant contributions to pre-clinical teaching within the Faculty. First and Second year medical students may nominate pre-clinical teachers for this award.
Clinical Tutor of the Year Award
For significant contributions to clinical teaching (at some time in the three years up to and including this year) within the Faculty. Third and fourth year medical students may nominate clinical teachers for this award.
Honorary Life Membership
Honorary Life Membership is conferred to a person (staff or student) who has provided exemplary service to WAMSS and medical students at UWA. Nominations for Life Membership are accepted at any time from all medical students.
